Product Description
AnTec C-OP kaolin is an engineered and structured calcined kaolin featuring ultra-high brightness. It has been dehydroxylated by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystalline-bound hydroxyl groups and to improve brightness.C-OP kaolin is highly pulverized for better dispersion and provides excellent opacity.
Application information
Due to its high reactivity and low density, AnTec C-OP works well as an extender to partially replace TiO2 and effectively reduce cost. Its good dispersion and low electrical conductivity allows it to provide stability of electrophoretic paint. AnTec C-OP provides excellent optical properties for TiO2 extension in coatings.
Typical applications: Water-borne and solvent-borne coatings, eggshell paint, semi-gloss paint and OEM electrophoretic coatings.
